Deacon Cluese Lyons Jr. entered into rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Ruffin Lyons; sons, Vernon Lee Lyons, Kayle Lee (Kim) Jones, and Dedrick (Nicole) Gantt; daughters, Carolyn (Otis) Jones, and Teresa Drake; one brother, Deacon James Lyons; one sister, Wilhemina Hill; brother-in-law, Jule Maryland, sister-in-law, Josephine Ruffin; grandchildren, Bernard “BJ” Simmons, Nicholas (Tina)Dixon, Jenease Horstead, Keltavious Jones, Nina Drake, Alexis Drake, Tryston Jones, Kayla Jones, Jalen Gantt, and Angel Gantt; great – grandchildren, Mycah Horstead, Amiyah Jones, and Tre Jones; great aunt, Ola Murray; godchildren, Tangy Howard and Jualise Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
